Facilities Technician

As a Facilities Technician, you will be at the heart of ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities at the Pandan and Loyang Workshops. Job Responsibilities:

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of M&E systems such as ACMV, electrical systems, sanitary & plumbing, fire protection systems, and building works.
• Routine Checks: Conduct daily routine checks, attend to enquiries, and respond to emergency repair and breakdown complaints.
• Contractor Supervision: Supervise and monitor contractor performance to ensure works are carried out based on contract specifications.
• Project Management: Manage and follow up on rectification, capex, and project works, and report to management in a timely manner.
• Implementation Assistance: Assist in the implementation of renewals such as fire drills, system shutdowns, periodic inspections, etc.
• Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks or duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC / Certifications in building services engineering or a related field
• Preferably strong in electrical works
• Able to work on all Saturdays (Half day), 5.5 work days
• Working Location: Loyang and Pandan only
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a facilities technician or in a similar role
• Strong technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Enthusiasm for implementing sustainable and energy-efficient practices
