ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd and its consortium partner, ENGIE South East Asia have won Singapore’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure pilot tender awarded by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and Land Transport Authority (LTA). Both will set up EV charging points in participating public car parks in the Central, East and West regions.
A total of 620 charging points are expected to be installed and operational by the third quarter of 2022 across 200 car parks. The move will increase the number of EV charging points across Singapore and will contribute towards the national target to deploy 60,000 charging points by 2030.
